The Animal Welfare League of Alexandria’s mission is inspire compassion for all living things, to provide shelter to animals in need, and to promote adoptions, animal welfare and responsible pet ownership in our community.

Volunteers: Variety of opportunities including book buddies with small animals, junior volunteers, middle school Pawsitive Action club, and summer camp counselors. Numerous at home opportunities including collection drives and fundraising, animal fostering, and more.
