About The youth Corps

Who We Are
Founder Avi Agrawal and co-founder Anika Agrawal were inspired to create this website as a resource for fellow students who are interested in service. The lack of a centralized resource for young people to find volunteer opportunities appropropriate for their age is a barrier to youth engagement. With the establishment of this online database Agrawal and Agrawal hope to provide the bridge between a corps of youth eager to serve with causes that inspire them.

The Youth Corps is a non-profit organization designed to connect youth in the DMV area to opportunities to serve both locally and nationally. Our purpose is to inspire younger generations to engage in meaningful and rewarding service-oriented volunteering and encourage a lifetime commitment to giving back.
